Winter Ball

Zachary Howick, Staff Writer

On the 14th of December was the Winter Ball, but for some reason this year there was a huge lack of people that where even going to attend the Ball. During lunch the day before the dance the SBO’s where running around asking people to buy tickets because there was barely 30 tickets sold throughout the whole week. On the day of the dance it seemed as if there where only 25-30 people there. There was hardly any snacks and drinks being handed out, the commons floor was half empty, and this was all taking place an hour into the dance. So I feel as if there was something lacking about these dances even though this is supposed to be the best parts of our high school experience. Plus these dances are apart of the schools income so if no one goes to the dances, the school doesn’t make money which is a big thing.

So I feel as if these special events need to be hyped up way more then a little.

“Come buy are tickets”

So please when the next dance comes around tell your friends, family, etc so we can continue to have these fun events, and so the school can rise a little more money for more fun events like this.
