Important dates for Seniors

As the end of the year sneaks up on us graduation is getting closer and closer everyday. Here are some important dates you need to be reminded of.

Spirit week is March 18-22 and the spirit assembly is on the 22nd.

Graduation tryouts and videos are all due April 10th. Remember this years theme is : Capture every Minute.

Jostens will be here on April 30th to deliver all caps and gowns during both lunches.

LIA will be hosting their car show May 3rd and Senior Ball will be May 4th.

Our senior panoramic picture will be on May 8th at 10 am.

Senior week will be held from May 13-17. On May 17th will be our farewell assembly as well as senior sunset.

Graduation practice will be May 23rd from 9 AM to 10 AM at Hunter and our graduation will be on May 24th at 2 pm at the Maverick Center.

Seniors you are almost there. You have made it this far don’t fall behind now as so many new exciting things will be happening these upcoming 3 months.

My name is Brenda. I am a senior here at Hunter High School. This is my second year attending Hunter. I attended Cyprus for my freshman and sophomore year. I'm looking forward to graduating and continuing school to get an associate's degree in medical sonography. Some of my favorite things to do include being with my family, reading, drawing and painting, doing my makeup, and being with my little sister. I've always been into writing and reading. English has always been my favorite subject in school. I've always liked reading the stories we get assigned or writing assignments and that is why I took journalism. One thing I wish for is to get to know more by the end of the year; more about what journalism is about and making sure the people who are interested in it take it.
