College Application Week

For all seniors, College Application Week is coming up. It will be from November 6-10 during English classes in the library. There are some important documents you may need for the applications, so seniors here is what you need to bring.

You are going to need your social security number (if you have one) either write it down, have it memorized, or bring the physical copy and remember to keep it somewhere safe. The second thing you will need is a personal email. You can use one you already have or make a new one since you may be receiving a lot of emails. The third thing you will need is your address; memorize it or write it down if you don’t know it make sure to include your zip code. You will also need to know is your birthday.

One last thing you may need is a state ID (again if you have one). This isn’t required, but if you have one, certain colleges may ask for the number listed. This is an ID provided by the government for example: a passport, driver’s license, permit, green card, or permanent residency.

Please remember to bring your Chromebook fully charged or carry your charger in case. If you don’t have one there are computers you can use in the Library.

Good luck to all our seniors applying for college.

About the Contributor
Brenda Hernandez, Staff Writer
My name is Brenda. I am a senior here at Hunter High School. This is my second year attending Hunter. I attended Cyprus for my freshman and sophomore year. I'm looking forward to graduating and continuing school to get an associate's degree in medical sonography. Some of my favorite things to do include being with my family, reading, drawing and painting, doing my makeup, and being with my little sister. I've always been into writing and reading. English has always been my favorite subject in school. I've always liked reading the stories we get assigned or writing assignments and that is why I took journalism. One thing I wish for is to get to know more by the end of the year; more about what journalism is about and making sure the people who are interested in it take it.
