September 15 2023 was the homecoming football game. It is a very important event for the average high school student. It really gives the whole experience of homecoming week/weekend. Every day from September 11-15 there is a different theme and you can choose to dress according to the theme. For example, for the football game, the theme was “celebrity out.” I went to the game and it was entertaining from watching the football game happen to watching the different people and their own interpretation of what “celebrity out” means.

Regarding the football game obviously Hunter won. The game was against Cyprus and Hunter beat them 21-6. It was very satisfying to watch. Overall the football game was really fun. Hunter had local food trucks and drinks to sell. For seniors, it was very fun to attend, especially because it was their last homecoming football game; for many people, it’s the same case. Hunter made the best out of it and we made sure to have fun and enjoy it. One last observation, the sunset was beautiful, like the sky knew how to tie together the night.
