Around 9 AM Monday morning March 2, an email was sent out regarding our Hunter High’s speech and debate team. This past Saturday they placed first overall in region. Everyone here at Hunter is extremely proud of our speech and debate team because this marks their third year placing first. The email sent out by Khristian Owens and reads:

“Good morning all. It is with great pride that I announce that this past Saturday our Speech and Debate team took first in the region for the third year running! Please congratulate the students as you see them throughout the day. They are such great kids and this is an amazing accomplishment!”

This email got sent out to all teachers and staff at Hunter; students, staff and teachers are very pleased with the outcome. We have had announcements and teachers congratulating the students involved and it has overall been amazing for our speech and debate team. Teachers and staff have all been very supportive over these students. If you see or know someone in speech and debate be sure to congratulate them on this big win. Good job wolverines!
