It really is not fair for other people to throw their trash on the floor or make a mess for the people that work at this school. The custodians don’t want to be cleaning up after you unnecessarily. Yes, it is their job, yet we should still help keep the school clean by putting trash in trash cans to make it easier for them. They do so much for the students already and that’s one thing they really shouldn’t have to do. Taking care of the school is important. It can make other students feel safe at school and welcomed. When the school stays clean, it’s nice for everyone in the building. It would really help the custodians to just pick up after yourself and generally help out around the building.

When you enter a building, it’s never pleasing to see garbage all over is it? No, it’s not, and just because we have custodians, doesn’t mean you have the right to be belligerent and toss your trash on the floor when there are plenty of garbage cans around inside the building. This school is huge, and we don’t have a ton of custodians, so it can be hard to clean up everything, so why not be a decent human being and throw your trash into the trash can? Even if it’s not your trash, why not still be kind and toss it into a trash can?

We should all take pride in this school. We should all realize it is also our job to help keep this place a clean and friendly learning environment. Go Hunter Wolverines.
