These past few days have been really cold outside with temperatures decreasing as low as 2 degrees Fahrenheit. On January 9, we received a warning about temperatures being low and snow storms going on in Utah. But Utah isn’t the only place being affected by these winter storms, nine states are under blizzard warnings: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska.
USAToday states that “Thousands of residents from New Jersey to Maine were under flood warnings and high wind advisories Wednesday as a deadly winter storm continued to dump rain across the region, delaying traffic, closing schools, and knocking out power”. Make sure to put on your warm coats for these couple of weeks because it won’t be getting any warmer.
