2024-2025 Course Selection

While it may not seem like it, the 2023-2024 school year is over halfway through. The end of the school year is approaching, and so is class selection. Throughout this week and possibly throughout next week as well, counselors will be visiting Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior math classes to help students through the course selection process.

Even though you should be given plenty of time to make your decisions, it is recommended that you review the course selection sheet for your grade level so you know what classes you are wanting to take. You can find this list by logging onto Canvas and selecting “College and Career Readiness” in your courses tab. From there, you want to go to your modules tab and select “(your grade level) Course selection 24-25”.

If you missed course selection, email or make an appointment with your counselor to prevent any errors and to ensure you are properly enrolled in your selected classes.

About the Contributor
Samantha Sorensen, Staff Writer
Hi! My name is Samantha Sorensen and I am a sophomore at Hunter High School. Some things I like to do for fun are hang out with friends and family, watch movies, and go shopping. My interest for journalism started when I took a speech and debate class during my freshman year of high school. I discovered that I like arguing a point and trying to make a change, but I didn't like the competition. I feel that because of this, Journalism is a better fit for me, because I can write influential stories and prove a point but without the competition and arguing, and so far I am really enjoying this class. This school year I am looking forward to meeting new people and learning new things, and I am hoping to broaden my horizons in journalism.
