AVID, LIA, POP, and BSU sophomore and junior students there will be a “DayBlast” Diversity Day at Snow College on Friday, February 23. That Friday is an A-day so if you are interested in joining and you’re in any of those programs then make sure to, as soon as possible, get the permission packet from either Ms. Anderson’s room, room C-213, or ask Ms. Johnson in room B-116. You will also need your A-day teachers’ signatures and you have to complete the forms found in the permission packet.

The trip is completely free and they will be giving you lunch and a t-shirt. This would be a good way to have an extracurricular for LIA plus AVID, BSU, and POP to discover other colleges out there to expand their college options.

Make sure, if you have already turned in the required forms, that you meet at the library before 7:30 AM to check in and hop into the buses. Also, know that we will not arrive back to Hunter High until around 4 PM so make sure that you have a way to get home at that time. Make sure you turn in the permission packet no later than February 20. Hope to see you guys there.
