If you attend Hunter High or have ever been inside you will notice the signs in the halls promoting clubs or classes. Starting the last week of January signs will only be allowed on the concrete pillars in the Commons, A-hall pillars, any existing cork bulletin boards or strips, and outside the Counseling Center and Main Office. This came about because the Administration wanted our school to look more organized. If a teacher asks you to go put something up please make sure to be mindful and only put up information in one of those three locations. Do not use just any tape; only painter’s tape. Do not post the sign on any painted surfaces.
If they signs are posted where they should not be, the administration will take them down. If you are not sure, ask. Many people oppose this decision thinking that students will now be less informed, others like the decision saying it is a good way to keep the school cleaner. If this new guideline is a problem for you you are welcome to go to the Main Office and discuss it with the Administration.
