Holiday tree festival

A holiday tree festival is a tradition here at Hunter High, each year in the month of December. Clubs get together and decorate Christmas trees. Each club is in competition with each other to see who gets voted as having the best tree. This year’s theme is “candy/treats”.

FBLA will be doing candy canes, Deca will do M&Ms, Cheer will do Skittles. ASL is doing gingerbread, the SBOS are doing lollipops, Debate is doing lifesavers. LIA will do Mexican candy, RPG will do rice crispy treats, and Skills USA will do chocolate. Theater is doing Sour Patch Kids, FCCLA is doing Starburst, and Drill will be doing Hershey Kisses. French Club will be doing 3 Musketeers, ceramics is doing sugar cookies, Dance Company is doing Milky Way. United Teams is doing Candyland, and GSA is doing Airhead Extreme.

More still to come! It’s never too late to have a tree this will be going on from December 11th through the 15th. If you can’t get your tree up that Monday just let Tonya Bryner know and she will save you a spot. Anyone is welcome to do a tree, if you have any questions email @[email protected].
