Hunter High had their yearly Make-a-Wish assembly along with their Make-a-Wish week. It honored a little girl named Victoria. Starting on Monday, October 23 students were to dress up starting as their favorite book character. Next moving into Tuesday was Pajama Day, Wednesday was “Under the Sea/ Beach Day”, Thursday would’ve been students’ Halloween costumes, and lastly Friday they could’ve worn a “Make a Wish” T-shirt. On Friday, the day of the assembly, students had the opportunity to sign up for dares.
The assembly was a success, they were able to reach over $1200 for “Tori”! Hunter had many great people reaching for this goal and it was so great to say they archived it. It’s great the school has so many people who look forward to these Make-a-Wish events.
