Hunter High School attendance has been at an all-time low and the administration has taken it upon itself to find a solution. Hall sweeps are an everyday thing now that will be going on every day for a month until this attendance problem is solved.

I recently interviewed Marlene Fabelio,  a student here at Hunter on how she feels about these hall sweeps. She thinks these hall sweeps are a good way to regulate students who tend to skip. She is not a fan of the first-period hall sweeps as she feels that they cause students to be more late than they already are. Many other students in the student body are in the middle but one student, Nestexo Yar, believes hall sweeps are not beneficial for teachers or students. The administration is suggesting that students should get here by 7:15 AM to avoid any difficulties getting into the building. As this month goes on students should make sure to always be on time and always be on time to class.
