Growth mindset. I think intelligence is something that we develop when we are young because we start to think about how to do things and figure out stuff that is in our interest, for example, I have a high reading level because my parents started me young.
-Neuroplasticity is the way the brain responds to certain things.
-People become more intelligent when they read and learn things, mostly hands-on, a lot of practice, but also seeing patterns.
-Our brain isn’t really a muscle but it controls all of our muscles so I guess you can say the brain is the real muscle.
-Intelligence is based on our emotions the animals that are freely in the wild could expand their knowledge by climbing real trees and others that live in captivity don’t know how to survive in the wild because their brain is used to being inside or safe.
-Most brain growth starts at the age of 5 and before kindergarten.
-My situation was learning how to snowboard. The first thing I did when I struggled was learn where I was making my mistakes. The situation was that my turning wasn’t very good so I practiced more and also worked out on my legs more often. The situation ended with me carving a little bit better but I had more control over the snowboard now.
