Monday September 18, our school hosted a Unified Soccer Tournament. We know that the Special Olympics likes to host these tournaments at Hunter because we have such amazing support and such an amazing student body. The tournament began with opening ceremonies which included a torch run, Athlete Oath, and National Anthem.

What followed was our parade of athletes and the introduction of other schools. The tournament concluded with our Wolverine team taking 3rd place and our Hunter team finishing in 1st place. Some player highlights we would like to include Christian Avala who scored 4 goals. More key players such as Whitney Rasmussen, Angely Valquez, Ashton Smith, Dakota Boham, and star goalie Amber Mohamed. These players and their teams will be participating in the semi-finals on October 5th, 2023 and the Unified track tournament will be taking place on the 28th of September. They would love the school’s support. Good luck Wolverines.
