Apparently, there was an Asian Pacific Islander heritage month that never knew about, but it’s cool to know there’s something like that. I wanted to write about it because I was more curious than wanting to spread awareness about this traditional thing. [I only know about Pride month in June because some kid I know was babbling about it and I was curious to know more about Pride month.]

I wanted to learn more about Asian and Pacific Islander eritage month because I am a Pacific Islander.

One of the things I wanted to know was when it was made into a month, ,its origin and where it originated from. What I got so far was that it was actually supposed to be only for a week by George W. Bush, but then-President Barack Obama changed it to a month
