The biggest question from the students that go to Smith’s supermarket is “Why do we need to take are backpacks off?” Unfortunately when I asked Smith’s personnel they refused to answer my question.

I am guessing they thought I was trying to be funny or make them mad, but I was really serious. I’m guessing stealing has been a huge issue this year and they were really tired of it.

I really don’t blame them for making that rule because I’ve seen with my own eyes people running out of the store with items they haven’t paid for, and the manager taking students into his office because they stole.
