Utah out of water

The following are some updates on Utah’s weather. During this past year, Utah has been suffering from a drought. In the beginning, it was looking very alarming, “ In July the entire state was in extreme or exceptional drought and Utah’s two largest lakes hit their lowest levels ever.”

As the year went on there were some storms and waterfalls that Utah managed to regain some water but the drought still affects Utah. Many experts have their eyes on the Colorado River that supplies a big water source through the Southwest of America, over the past 20 years the river has been getting more and more dryer. “Depending on how you look at the numbers, it’s the second or third-driest year on record on the Colorado River,”

There are many opinions. Some people say Utah will refill the water deficit with all the snowfall this year. Others voice that we should be looking into other water supplies.
