Getting used to distant learning

Haelei VanGend, Staff Writer

For about a week, online learning has taken place at Hunter High. Not only students but also teachers have had to get used to it. With some trial and error things are starting to get a bit easier.

Teachers have been sending out emails regarding work, posting new things daily, and doing online video chats. Students are adjusting as well as they can but it’s been a little difficult. With many students trying to do work at the same time certain sites have been shutting down or performing very slow. Students have had to email teachers about problems they are having and the teachers do the most they can to get it fixed.

I have heard that some teachers classes have been a lot easier to obtain then others and some haven’t even started. Distant learning was sprung on a lot of us and most didn’t think it was actually going to happen. It could take about a week or two for teachers and students to fully adjust and to start getting int the work they need. We hope everyone stays healthy and safe! Good luck wolverines.
