Red and pink hearts, chocolate boxes, teddy bears, roses, yes it’s that time of the year again. Valentine’s day is getting closer and closer as each day goes by. Some may be planning something to surprise their lover for this holiday and others may spend their day with family and friends. This day allows people to express the love they have for each other and appreciation. Some people may find it annoying or unnecessary to see couples showing PDA. There have been occasions in which people are sad about spending Valentine’s Day alone. There are more things that one is able to do on this day that don’t include someone else, like treating oneself to a nice dinner or buying things. One can also spend this day with friends and family. Love is not necessarily romantic love, but the love one has for a mother or father is one that is unconditional. Of course everyone is grateful for the friends they have, why not show them appreciation? As this day gets closer and closer, let’s appreciate the people we love in every way possible.
