Chinese New year and virus

For many Chinese who were ready for festivities to come may now have to be cancelled due to lockdown. The reason for this lockdown in the middle of such awaited festivities is due to the new uprising virus named coronavirus. The named virus “coronavirus” has at least 900 infected and an estimate of 18 people have been declared dead.
For many it was thought as a simple flu or sickness due to its symptoms not being diagnosed sooner. But after finding out of it’s outbreak, the virus is being spread all over Asia and across the world. Because of such critical conditions, at least 11 cities in China’s central hubei Province have been put to lockdown mode. The reason to this is the prevention of being hit with the virus, for which it has caused authorities in Beijing and other cities to yet cancel or already cancelled lunar New Year celebrations. But not only are celebrations being out down but as well tourism. Many of the popular tourist attractions such as Disneyland, The Great Wall of China, (and along the way McDonald’s,) are to be off limits.
Such commotion has also affected many of China’s University students at risk of being quarantined on their return to the UK. It is for a fact that Chinese nationals make up the biggest proportion of international students for higher education institution in the UK. Many restrictions have been put to those who come in and out of the state now that at least 2 and more cases of coronavirus have been listed to be in the US and in Europe. This has caused at least 2,000 travelers to be under the US centers for disease control and prevention (CPC) screening. For now there has been at least 1 passenger that had to be sent down for medical evaluation. Due to how fast this situation has escalated, it is clear that festivities and tourism is to be out of the question until further notice.
