Snow day

Snow+day

We just had a snow day and it got really cold again. I guess that is Utah weather. But it made a lot of Hunter’s students not show up to school. It looked like only very few students came to school. The snow was on the floor of the entire Salt Lake and West Valley, yet it wasn’t the worse to the point we had to call a snow day. So I feel like the weather shouldn’t be a problem. Yes, some parents want their kids to be safe, but they should at least try to get their kids to school.
Know if you don’t have very good tires or something else that come up, then just don’t go. Don’t put your safety on the line. Make sure you and others are safe especially when driving. I just would like to see more students in class unless they are not supposed to be in school. Having a real snow day can also be the case. We are supposed to be getting more snow this month but that can easily change.
It’s completely understandable why there are not a lot of kids coming to school because of the weather, even though we would like to see more students. We all have our own lives and it is understandable how some days we might just need a break. We are all human and we sometimes need a day off. Be careful when we have cold days; pay attention to things around you. When driving, and taking it nice and slow is always a good thing. That way there not a wreck or anything. Also stay warm by putting a coat on. Seeing some teenagers walking with only a jacket on while it is snowing heavily is crazy. Staying warm and being careful when driving or going on with your day is important while in this snowy weather.
