Trump’s impeachment

Zachary Howick, Staff Writer

For the past couple of months there have been a lot of things going around about impeaching our president, Donald Trump and last night was the Houses vote on if they wanted to impeach him. The House of Representatives wanted to impeach him because they claimed that he wanted to be president “For his own personal and political gain” or and for obstructing Congress. When the house did vote there was enough votes to impeach him but impeaching him can not be decided by the house, the house can only make the call of impeachment. This now will move over to the Senate and they will vote on if he should stay in office or be impeached, so he was the third impeached president to the House not the country.

Trump will stay in office unless the Senate makes the final vote to impeach him, but for now he is still in office. The actual odds of him getting impeached are very low being that the Senate is mostly of the Republican party and the House if mostly of the Democrat party. So there for his impeachment most likely won’t happen.
