Winter storms

Zoey Mcneil, Staff Writer

Recently the weather man has been telling us that winter storms are headed; is Utah ready? We’re told the average temperature this winter is 33 and with that in mind that means snow sticks and rain freezes. The probability of snow coming up until the beginning of January is very high and it will stick. This snow is supposed to go all throughout the United States and most say it’s record breaking for a lot of states. In October we already  broke the record of the coldest temperatures and now we could break the amount of snow in December. With this possibly happening, will the Utah school districts have to call one or multiple snow days? So far Salt Lake County has gotten 2 inches of snow and there will be more coming withing the next week.
