Driver’s education interview

Ajla Sabljakovic, Staff Writer

In recent weeks, West Valley City Utah has experienced a few accidents involving teenage drivers. I interviewed Scott Henderson,  one of the driver’s education teachers at Hunter High School on November 21, 2019. I asked him questions involving on what was the hardest part about teaching teenagers how to drive.

“The only way to truly learn how to drive is through more driving to gain more experience behind the wheel,  so I’d say the hardest part about teaching driver’s education is being able to have patience.” He answered when I asked what he thought was the hardest part about teaching driver’s education to high school students.

He went on further to disclose that he felt safer having the ability to stop the car if necessary while a student was driving.
