College applications here at Hunter High will be available to submit anytime through October 1st and November 1st. Free application for the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is also available at this time. Help is available with Mrs. Kline in the counseling office for filling out your application and/or fee waiver. There are six colleges and universities that have free applications. All you will need to do is go down to the counselors’ offices; they are the ones you talk to in order to get these codes. The codes are needed to get the free application. The six schools are-

• Dixie State University (St. George, Utah)
• Snow College (Ephraim, Utah)
• Southern Utah University (Cedar City, Utah)
• University Of Utah (Salt Lake City, Utah)
• Utah Valley University (Orem, Utah)
• Westminster College  (Salt Lake City, Utah)

When applying make sure you make note of any additional items you need to submit with your application such as essay, transcript, ACT score, or recommendation letters. During this process if you think you qualify for an application fee waiver, talk to your counselor or college adviser.
