What is the importance of Mental Health Awareness? There is many ways where we can help raise mental awareness for everyone young or old. Many celebrities have tried to raise mental health awareness. There is many teens who are suffering with these type of issues. There is many people involved with mental health awareness. There can be lots of hatred or bullying about these issues but we can do something to help.

Many celebrities have been trying to raise mental health awareness because it has beginning to become a greater issue than ever and some of them gone through it or are going through it right now. Some celebrities like Gaga, Selena Gomez and a few other are not afraid to openly talk about mental health and their illnesses. Gaga penned a suicide awareness essay for World mental health day. Our famous Captain America (Chris Evans) has openly talked about his struggles with mental illnesses. More and more of these celebs are now talking about because they are humans and they have struggles like any other human in this world.

There is many teens with mental illnesses that many of them get so sick of it they have tried to commit suicide. Four out of Five teens that have attempted to commit suicide have given clear sign and we don’t help them or sometimes we don’t even notice. In 2017 , there were 47,173 recorded suicides, up from 42,773 in 2014, according to the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistic (NCHS). Now is a time where teens need our help the most because not only they already feel like dying when having issues but with all the pressure haters give the more they feel worse than ever.

Right now in the world there is more people involved with mental health awareness than ever before in history. There more involved now because the rates are super high not only in teens but also in adults and younger children. In the United States, has the second highest rate of depression reported with an 8.3%. We can get involved if we help and help people go through their illness.

There is many people in the world who are just giving a lot of hatred. Many people have been faking and making fun of having depression or other mental issues. This makes people that actually have these issues feel worse, useless, and that having these problems are bad.  Many  of these people are actually wonderful, they try to make everything surrounding them a beautiful place to be, but if we ruin that for them that can lead them to have suicidal thought. They are not freaks and they are not crazy, they just need us to show them that we care about them.

There is a solution for all this, we can start by not giving hatred to these regular people like us because we all have something, we are not perfect. We can begin making campaigns for people with mental illnesses. Showing them they are not alone and that they are valued. We can also start ignoring those who are not in need and are just faking it to get all the needs people with mental issues have and are just faking it to give hatred and making these innocent people more hurt than what they are.

Many of the celebrities that have started to raise the mental health awareness, they have begun to make campaign that we can show support. We can ignore people who are just showing huge despise over these people. I say we should help and stop showing hatred because we never know if one day we wake up and ending up having a mental illness.
