On Wednesday May 15 there will be the last blood drive of the year. You will be able to donate blood 8 AM to 2 PM; you have until the start of school and the end of school to think if you want to possibly save a life.

I interviewed a quarter 2 blood donor Caiden Porter and he explained why you should donate blood. “It’s pretty nerve racking at first, and you don’t know if its going to hurt or not. It turned out to be pretty simple, they made me look the opposite direction because I hate needles and asked me how my day was, next thing you know they put a band aid on my arm and told my I was finished, I personally didn’t feel a thing. It’s totally worth the great feeling you get after; you could’ve saved someones life.”

If you’re not able to donate any blood don’t worry. During the next school year Hunter will have one for every quarter.
