The life of Brian Hsu

Luis Rodriguez, Staff Writer

Brian Hsu is a college baseball player who plays for BYU, but he suffers from debilitating seizures that effects his everyday life. When Brian is around loud noises, bright lights, even when he gets a lack of sleep, he gets seizures. That results in him not being able to walk after thirty minutes of the seizures. He says he can’t even remember his own name or where he is when he talks to the paramedics. That still won’t stop Brian from playing the game he loves so much, however. He’s making a commitment with his team and coaches to keep playing the game.
