Today’s question was given to us by Mr. Cummings and his 2A class. The question they asked us was as simple as “What’s your why?” Though the answers were a lot harder for the staff to come up with than it was for the question to be generated. One staff member gave us the answer, “I want to make the world a better place. Even if that means I only get to help one person each day.” Another staff member said that most of her/his life is driven by obligation and that they have very little self-motivation, but that most of their motivation goes towards helping others. And last but not least, we asked Cummings his own question. He said, “Everything I do is for the betterment of my family.”
