There was a horrific highway crash on SR-201 at around 4 AM near 2700 West. It was a head-on vehicle with a motorcycle, and police are still searching for the driver who fled after the crash. It killed the motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet. The identity of the victim still hasn’t been released as the police search for more evidence. All that was revealed is that the driver was a white male. At around 8 AM SR-201 has been reopened, but there still may be some traffic there, and on roads connected to it such as Bangerter Highway. The crash was most likely caused by aggressive driving, and the vehicle moving too fast. The other witnesses on the road at the time said there was someone walking away from the scene.
