Today you would be surprised on how many more people support transgender and gay people. While many may not be gay, people appear to be more supporting. After doing a poll, two out of twenty-five people said they are against any sort of transgender and or gay people. This is honestly not surprising to me. As years go on more and more people are getting accepted for what they believe. I’m happy to hear about how supportive schools and communities have gotten over the years. Yes I may not be gay, but if someone else is and being who you are makes you comfortable with yourself, then I am happy for you.

It is unbelievable how much people’s viewpoints have changed on this subject. Given twenty years ago and people would discriminate against gays and transgenders for all sorts of different reasons and it was honestly pretty sad to hear about some of the stories that would happen. I am just writing this article to really prove a point. I’m writing it because this is something that will hopefully put a smile on someone’s face.
