I adopted a cat

On Sunday, January 27th, my family and I decided to adopt a cat from the Humane Society. She’s honestly the sweetest thing ever but she can be very temperamental too. I was told that Torties can be like that. One minute you can be cuddling her and then the next minute she won’t want anything to do with you. I’m glad we got her though.

She’s technically my cat so I decided to name her Mango. She has some orange in her fur so it works. Cats are great pets. One thing I love about my Mango is that during the night she will come curl up next to my legs and sleep with me. Half of the time she’s pretty relaxed and calm but when you pull out a string she goes ham trying to get it out of your hand. One thing I’ve noticed about her is that when there are a bunch of people around she gets very anti-social and likes to hide or come into my room and chill with me. She does best with only one or two people around.

If you are thinking about getting a cat, I would say you should do it. They are very relaxed and fun to play with. At least they can be. Other than that they are great pals and I love them.
