How relationships affect student performance

Chloe Koons, Staff Writer

Relationships can have their ups and downs when it comes to high school. However, it can be negative when it comes to academic performance. This can distract the student while they are at school due to them thinking about them, and it can also be difficult when outside of school because you may not be able to study when you are spending time with them. They can also be beneficial because it can be a motivation for the student to complete their work. Their significant other can also encourage them, and that may be helpful because that is someone that they will most likely listen to.
