Allen Hurns injury
January 8, 2019
Allen Hurns is an American football wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. He was picked up by the Dallas cowboys in 2018 and helped Dallas become NFC East champions. Minutes into the wild card game against Seattle it was 3rd down and seven, Hurns caught a pass good for fourteen yards and the first down. Seattle’s safety Bradly McDougald fell directly on Hurns’ leg causing his ankle to snap. Head coach of the Cowboys came out and held Allen Hurns hand until they were able to get a cart to carry him off the field.
The sportsmanship was heartwarming. Players from Seattle went to wish him luck, and show respect to the player as he was getting carried off the field. After the injury the players kept Hurns in their hearts and pushed foward for the victory. It has been confirmed that Hurns is out for the rest of the year and will return some time next season.
