How can you make your Thanksgiving break less stressful?
November 19, 2018
To make your Thanksgiving break less stressful you should turn in all missing work before hand and if you do not have it all done create a study/homework schedule you can follow so that you do not spend all of your time doing homework and still have time to hang out with your friends & family and relax. Take an hour or two out of each day to do this and make sure that you follow through. If you stick to this schedule then you will not have to worry about getting all of your stuff done because you will know when it needs to be done and when to start.
When you make this schedule remember to include 5-15 minute breaks ever hour or two so that you can rest your brain and then when you start again you will have a fresh mind and retain the information. Your brain starts to lose focus every hour or so and you need to be sure that you are paying full attention to your work and retaining the information. If you think about it, the reason your teacher is giving you homework is probably because you are going to have a test on it and if you are not focusing and retaining the information then you will not do well on the test and the homework was pointless.
On Thanksgiving you probably will not want to do any homework or anything school related and that is okay, you can have that be a day you just take off of doing homework, that can be a full brain rest day filled with food and hanging out with family and friends. Just be sure that you get everything done before it needs to be turned in.
