Good grades are really important if you want to get into  a good college. If you aren’t thinking about going to college, you should still push for good enough grades so you can at least graduate high school.

graduating high school is a big thing, a huge accomplishment at that. Most places, where you can make good money, don’t hire unless you have a high school diploma. Graduating high school means you’re officially going into the “adult world”. You don’t go to school anymore, you have a full time job. You’re paying your own bills (unless you live with your parents the rest of your life)

If you don’t get semi good grades, you won’t graduate high school, then you spend your life at a crappy paying job being miserable, and not knowing whether or not you’ll be able to pay your bills this month. So push yourself, even when you feel like giving up. Get those good grades so you can graduate from high school and go somewhere with your life, even if you aren’t going to college.
