Karma Maestas
April 23, 2018
As you all probably know by now, 11 year old Karma Maestas has been given only a few weeks to live. For the last while she has been battling Terminal Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer. Chemo therapy isn’t an option for her anymore so she has left the hospital and has been using hospice and palliative care at her home.
Hunter High School helped Karma last year with the Make-A-Wish foundation and made it possible for her to go out and see the northern lights, which was absolutely fantastic. In these last few weeks Karma has been checking off as many things in her bucket list as she possibly can.
We love you Karma and we are all so proud of you for fighting so hard this past while. If you would, please keep Karma and her family in your thoughts as we go through these next few weeks.

Of course. We were glad that we could help make some of her dreams come true last year.
