Dear K&K

Kaydence and Kalissa answer your biggest questions

Kalissa Kennedy, staff writer

Q: Recently my best friend got a new girlfriend, but the thing is we like each other. I don’t want to be the type of guy to take his friend’s girlfriend but I really like her. Should I just ignore my feelings, or tell him?

A: All three of you should sit down somewhere and talk this out. Tell him that you like his girlfriend, and then have her explain her feelings and who she wants to date. Also listen to what he has to say about the matter. Let him know that if he doesn’t want you to date her then you won’t. Best wishes from me.

Q: This week is Jr. Prom and I want to go but I don’t have anyone to go with. I mean I have friends and such but I want to go with like a girl. The problem is, there are no girls I am interested in. What should I do?

A: If you have any friends that are girls, you can go with them otherwise, if you’re not interested in any girl’s then you may have to go with your friends. Going with a girl you hardly know will be no fun, and honestly pretty awkward. Hopefully you find someone soon, but I am sure you’ll have a great time.

Q: In English I have a really big project and I have to find a partner but I don’t know anyone in this class and pretty much everybody already has a partner. What do I do?

A: Well, you can ask the teacher if she/he can partner you with someone, or you can ask if you can work on it alone. That way you will be given a partner so that you won’t have to ask anyone.
