Attention future cheerleaders

Kaydence Richens, Author

If you are interested in being a cheerleader for the 2018-2019 school year, the tryout dates are quickly approaching. On March 7th, a parents meeting will be held in the library at 7:30 p.m.

What is a parents meeting, you might ask. Well, it’s where you and your parent(s) meet with the coaches and all of the other ladies/gentleman wanting to try out plus their parents get together. The coach(es)will introduce themselves, talk about tryout dates, what is expected to be prepared for the tryouts, and how everything will go.

The coach(es) will give you and your parent(s) an opportunity to ask whatever questions needed. If you don’t understand something, if you aren’t clear on expectations, or even if you want to know more about it. They will answer all of your questions as clear as they possibly can, and get you on your way so you can get prepared for tryouts.

On another note, our Hunter High cheer squad for the 2017-2018 school year, took 4th place in state. How awesome. Those girls went out and showed those judges their all. They showed everybody how they represent our school. Good job Cheer. Now let’s try our best to get a new team for the 2018-2019 school year, so they can represent Hunter High just as well.
