Dear K&K

Kaydence and Kalissa answer your biggest questions

Kalissa Kennedy and Kaydence Richens

Q: I am a Junior, so this week I have to take the ACT. I’m really anxious, and don’t feel very well prepared. What do you guys do to get prepared for big tests?

A: We both always make sure to study well the previous week. Another tip is to always try your best on everything leading up to the test. If you do all of the in class work, and study when need be, we’re sure you’ll do great on the test.

Q: Lately my friends have been really distant. Like I will try and meet up with them at lunches and such and they kind of just ignore me. I don’t know what I did wrong, but I think they hate me. What should I do?

A: Well, first of all we’re sure that they don’t hate you. Maybe you can try to start more group conversations. Although friends may grow apart, there are always more people out there. Try making some new friends that will always include you. Good luck to you!

Q: So yesterday me and my brother were out shopping, and I saw my best friend holding hands with a boy. We’ve been friends for seven years and tell each other everything. Why hasn’t she told me? And am I being too possessive?

A: Sometimes, it is best for somethings to not be said until they are for sure. Maybe she is just waiting to see how everything pans out before she tells you. We don’t think you’re being too possessive, but after this small incident don’t make it a habit to spy on her. I’m sure in a short while she’ll let you in on everything going on with her and the boy.
