As of yesterday our school partnered with Big Smiles and now offers in school dental care. Plus you don’t even have to pay. It is very accessible, and is at a common place for you. Performed by local professionals, this dental procedure is the full experience. It offers a complete dental exam, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride, and sealants.

A great idea, it makes keeping Hunter’s students healthier more convenient, and it is very affordable. It accepts all insurance, and is done by professionals. It is a great way to make our school a more family oriented place.

Visiting the Big Smiles website you will see that their main goal is to keep children healthy. It states, “Big Smiles is an in-school dental program designed to address today’s dental crisis and keep children healthy.” They go on to say that this a great way to get you dentist check-ups because you will be in school more and therefore you can grow academically.

Over all this was a great idea on the administrators’ part. It is going to help our school grow and make our student/parent/staff community stronger.
