Dear K&K

Kaydence and Kalissa answer your biggest questions

Kalissa Kennedy, author

Q: I was wondering if you could help me. I used to be really good friends with this girl from middle school. Now she’s really mean to me and my other friends. She is always calling me names and it is really starting to bother me. Do I talk to her about it? Or just ignore it?

A: We feel that you should confront her. Nothing aggressive, but just tell her how you feel. If she blows up just walk away, but there is a chance that she could realize what shes doing.

Q: My grades have been dropping, but I don’t understand why. I am a good student, and I do my work. I think it’s from my test scores. What tips do you guys have on studying?

A: We both think that having a designated time and place to study at least 3 times a week is the best thing you can do. Always make time in your schedule outside of school to do homework, and study. Although a lot of it is outside of school hours, always remember to pay attention in class. Those are the best tips we feel we can offer.

Q: I’ve been thinking about joining a club recently but I am scared I won’t be accepted. That’s what stopped me from doing sports, and other clubs in the past. I really want to join this club, but I am also really nervous.

A: We think joining that club is a great idea. Plus I am sure they will all accept you. Maybe you could even get one of your friends to join it with you. Clubs are a great thing to be a part of, and I am sure you’ll have a great experience.
