Have you noticed how the cafeteria and commons are filled with garbage after lunches? Recently I’ve seen trash, and empty plates everywhere after that bell rings to dismiss us from lunch. The custodial staff is working really hard to keep our school clean, but it isn’t their job to clean up after us. We are in high school and should be able to clean up our own garbage. Make it a goal from now on to always take care of your trash after lunches. Even if it isn’t your trash, pick it up and toss it on your way to class. I think that if we all try to keep it clean it will make a huge difference, not just for the custodial staff, but for the whole school.
