Why students fail their classes

All of the schools around the world have a grading system, the most common one is the letter grading. This system differs from A being the best grade to F the worst grade. Most students try their hardest to obtain all A’s in school and the other half simply doesn’t care or does not try to get good grades. There are many reasons why students don’t get good grades, they don’t pay attention in class, are lazy and won’t do the work, or get distracted by other things around them. “School is really easy, all you need to do is show up and do the work teachers give you,” Carlos Whittmer said student at Hunter High, other students blame the teachers by saying that they overdue it by giving them so much work.

Some other important reason is that students pay attention to other things in the class instead of paying attention to the teacher giving a lesson. Some teachers agree and say that kids tend to look more at their phone screens rather than looking at the white board and take notes. Some teachers have strict policies and don’t allow students to have their phones out during class and if seen with it the teacher takes it away and hands it back to that student. Phones in class have always been a problem in most schools, but they are very beneficial in some classes.

Grades have always reflected on students, if you get good grades others think of you as smart. Get bad grades and they think you are dumb or not qualified to get ever get good grades.
