Progress reports

Hunter highs progress reports are coming out Friday February 28th, 2020 and students are pushing hard this week to get their grades up. These progress reports are to show students what they need to get up before report cards, and to also show coaches to make sure grades are up to standard. Students are working to fix their grades by taking tests, talking to teachers, and doing last minute homework.

Each progress report is just one step closer to getting the final report card, and things can get stressful around those times. Students may be putting a large amount of stress on themselves for grades, some for sports, parents, colleges, and even just making themselves proud. Luckily progress reports are only your current grades and not your final. Students still have a little while to get their grades up to what they need/want, so there’s no need to be stressing.

Some tips for getting your grades where you want them. Study, even if you don’t want to and it sounds boring. Just take 5-10 minutes out of your day to look over your notes/ homework right before a test, trust me it helps. Take notes! Taking notes can help you remember things because you’re not only reading the information, you’re also writing it down. And another tip is to just relax. Yes this can get stressfull but do your best to just take everything one step at a time.
