Sweet Hearts

Zachary Howick, Staff Writer

February 8 is when the next dance at Hunter High School will be, and it sounds way more hyped up. Last December was the “throwback to the 90’s” dance and it was not advertised enough, causing almost no one to show, and the school not getting any income from it. This dance on the other hand sounds way more fun and it’s just right around the corner from Valentine’s day. Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to take your significant other for fun, or as a present. Everyone is starting to talk about it around school. This is going to be an amazing experience for the students and it should bring in the school a good little amount of money, which is always a good thing.

The dance is girl’s choice. The girls can begin to ask their significant other or potential future partner to go with them. The dance will be $10 a person, with free snacks and drinks there. Pictures will coast $16 dollars per person, (at least that was the price at the last dance.) It will go from 7-10 PM, and it’s a semi-formal dance, so dress decently. The dance will be held in the commons like our dances are. And all students from any school are welcome, as long as you can pay the $10 ticket price either during first and second lunch or at the doors.

This is a time to make high school memories and experiences. Please attend. Even if it’s just with friends, go. You will never get these opportunities again. Make it last while you can. All the official details can be found in the Hunter High School commons area above the courtyard doors. If any further questions about the dance, please go talk to an administrator or teacher.
