Solar power is the energy taken from the sun’s rays, it is then converted into power that we can use in our electric nation. Solar power is also one of the best Eco friendly ways of gathering energy without harming the environment and having to use a resource that has a limit to how much is on the planet. This source of energy is also found everywhere on the planet and it can be very easy to harvest, this makes it a very environmentally friendly and widely available source of power.

Our nation today uses too many non renewable resources, this means these resources are limited and at one point we may run out of them, this is why we must shift to something more dependent before we harm our Earth too much and effectively exhaust the planet. Fossil fuels are also a big cause of global warming due to the large amounts of carbon emitted from when the fossil fuels are burned. With an early shift towards solar power we can prevent further damage and start taking more action against climate change and try to minimize the damage that we have already caused. The problem with this is the transition from these fossil fuels to this infinite renewable energy, even if people start transitions to this power then it will be a very slow and gradual process, this is why the earlier we do this then then we would deal less damage to the planet.

The main reason solar power is such a great alternative is due to the fact that it is widely available and it does not harm nature or create such a large carbon footprint like fossil fuels.. The world’s current crisis right now is global warming and global warming main cause is emissions produced by the burning of fossil fuels, but if we were to shift over to renewable resources then we can start improving the care of our earth. There are also other alternatives such as water or wind power. These are very similar to solar power in the way that they are widely available, more environmentally friendly, and renewable. The difference is the type of power that they harness, solar uses the power of the sun, hydro uses the power of water, and wind power uses the wind to turn turbines and create power. Everybody needs to make an attempt in convincing corporations in switching to these alternatives for the good of our earth, once this is done then we can still live on our in-repairable earth, but it will no longer have to keep enduring greater damage.
