The girls have played six of their 22 scheduled game, so about a fourth of them so it is time for a quarter recap. The girls went 4-2 in the first six games. They had wins against Tooele, Box Elder, Mountain View, and Manti. They lost to Riverton and Lehi. They are giving up just 40 points per game, including holding Manti to just 25 and Tooele and Box Elder to 32 and 33. We are scoring 45. 6 points per game, including hitting 50-plus against Tooele, Box Elder, and Mountain View.

Angel Lui was our leading scorer with 14.1 points per game. She had two games with 21 points, against Mountain View and Manti, and a game with 17 points against Riverton. She also was second in rebounds with 4.3 per game and has an outstanding 3.3 steals per game which lead the team, including eight against Tooele and five against Mountain View. Nevaeh Brown was second in points with nine per game, including 16 against Box Elder and lead in rebounding with six per game. Olivia Harding leads the team in assists with three per game.

Overall, the team has started out strong. We have six more games against non-region teams. Those games are against Brighton, Lone Peak, Pleasant Grove, Bountiful, Jordan, and Westlake. If we could have another good stretch before starting region play that would be amazing. We have our first region game January 9th, at Granger.
