A volleyball player I once interviewed said that she likes volleyball because it’s a life time sport for her, and has been for most of her family. And I like it how she brought that up because it hit me not only that she and her family loves it, and that brings me memories of how my dad and older brother loves to play volleyball.

It’s a family thing for us because we grew up with many members of our family playing volleyball. My grandma played her whole high school year and got a scholarship to BYU Hawaii and they invited her to play for their team. It’s cool for me to know my grandma played her whole high school career, and then my mom played each high school year as well. I am honored to write out personal experience about volleyball, the most famous sport in our family.
